Amy Riddle is a teacher in the business/IT pathway at Matanuska Susitna Career and Technical High School (CTHS) in Wasilla. Mrs. Riddle joined the CTHS staff in August 2007 with many years of both teaching and industry experience. Her 19 years of business office experience in industry has included working for local, state and federal governments, a utility company, and an equipment rental company. Prior to coming to CTHS, Mrs. Riddle taught at Bristol Bay Borough School in Naknek, Alaska for twelve years.

Mrs. Riddle became a local advisor in 2007 and our state advisor in 2012. She is a member of BPA’s State Association Advisory Council (SAAC) and served as SAAC’s Chair-Elect in 2016-2017 and Chair in 2017-2018. Mrs. Riddle is currently serving a three-year term on BPA’s Board of Trustees as a State Advisor Representative. During the 2020-2021 year, she is serving as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Mrs. Riddle states, “I am privileged to be a local and state advisor for BPA. I believe that no matter what students are planning for their future, becoming a BPA member should be a priority. BPA changes people’s lives and gives its members excellent opportunities to develop rock-solid skills in leadership, networking and citizenship.
