Alaska State Officer Leadership Team
Post-secondary Division President
I am honored to serve as your 2021-2022 Alaska BPA Post-secondary State President. I am currently enrolled at the University of Alaska Anchorage studying Management with a concentration on Property and Real Estate Management. I joined BPA in 2019, and I have been an active member ever since. My most recent accomplishments are attending my first National Leadership Conference virtually and pulling off a State Leadership Conference in a virtual setting. Two goals that I have for this year is to increase membership in the post-secondary division and improve social media posts to improve engagement with members and supporters alike. Outside of BPA, I love to listen to music and play video games to pass the time. If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to reach out to me by email!
Secondary Division President
I am unbelievably grateful to have the opportunity to serve as your 2021-2022 Alaska BPA Secondary State President. I currently attend Mat-Su Central and will be attending Mat-Su Middle College for the 2021-2022 school year. I joined BPA thinking it was just another club for me to join. The more I do with BPA, the more I realize it’s so much more than that for so many reasons. I’ve made so many amazing friends. I’ve earned certifications and awards. I was even able to attend this year's State and National Leadership Conferences. Most importantly, I’ve been given the tools to discover passions and skills/talents of mine that I may not have if I didn’t get involved with BPA when I did. I don’t believe in perfection, but I have every intention of doing everything I can to fulfill my position to the best of my ability. As State and Local Secondary President, I plan on doing more team-building activities with both of my teams and hopefully even the other Career Technical Student Organizations. I would like to see more service projects and volunteering happening, but we’ll see what next school year allows. I will be more active and engaged with individuals from both teams and do everything I can to ensure the success of every member. I could go on and on about what I want to get done, but I’ll leave it at that and show you next year what I do get done. When I’m not trying to sound professional with BPA, I’m most likely hanging out with friends, making new ones, volunteering, working, or sadly doing homework like everyone else.
